The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Enablement Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our commercial enablement team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing and executing strategies to optimize sales performance, revenue acceleration, and customer engagement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Value Realization Methodology: Develop and own the value realization methodology, supporting our largest opportunities and account relationships. This includes building a scalable value model to estimate Lumen's impact on customers' revenue, cost, operational efficiency, and risk.
  • Product Strategy: Act as the product strategist, working closely with product leadership to ensure commercial readiness of new services, products, and features. Align product roadmap with execution capacity, processes, systems, tools, and people.
  • Long-Range Planning: Lead long-range planning for revenue enablement, aligning with leadership from Rev Ops, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and CS. Ensure targets align with enablement programs.
  • Revenue Enablement Operations: Guide revenue enablement and operations strategy for C-level initiatives, including custom private networks, balance of trade, and Lumen Digital.
  • Wholesale Segment Enablement: Represent the voice of revenue enablement to the wholesale segment and global partner solutions organizations, understanding their priorities and ensuring enablement of support.
  • Revenue Enablement Needs Assessment: Partner with revenue leaders and stakeholders to identify and prioritize revenue enablement needs and opportunities, including quarterly funnel analysis to determine opportunities by segment, module, and cohort.
  • Program Effectiveness Measurement: Measure and iterate programs to ensure the effectiveness of revenue enablement initiatives.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required, MBA or similar graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in corporate strategy, product, finance, sales, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proven ability to formulate, communicate, and execute strategy. Demonstrated ability to connect relationally with both technical and line of business executives. Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial modeling experience and understanding of business functions, including marketing, sales, finance, HR, operations, and IT.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location-Based Pay Ranges:

$111,480 - $148,630 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$117,340 - $156,450 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$123,210 - $164,280 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$129,080 - $172,100 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
