The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, identifying business opportunities, and negotiating and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to identify business opportunities and negotiate deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.
- Utilize account planning tools, prescriptive analytics, and research from marketing to teach customers something new and compelling about their business.
- Take control of the purchasing process by guiding customers to next steps and educating them on best demonstrated practices and potential roadblocks.
- Align all stakeholders involved in the decision-making process to drive consensus to MSC solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years demonstrated track record of success in B2B sales.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
- Ability to learn manufacturing concepts and processes.
