About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Service Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Nurses, Nutritionists, and Social Workers, to provide individualized services to families with children ages 0-3.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the functional capabilities of children relative to their age-appropriate milestones for potential developmental delays or risk factors.
- Provide home-based and virtual services for a caseload of families with diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities.
- Collaborate with families to develop goals that address the child's development and fit into their daily routines.
- Teach and coach caregivers to integrate strategies into daily routines to aid in the child meeting major developmental milestones.
- Continuously assess progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Rhode Island.
- Valid driver's license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
- CPR and first aid certifications or willingness to become certified.
