Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Professional to join our team as a Marketing and Communications Manager. As a key player in shaping our brand's story, you will create authentic communications that connect with both our customers and our team. Your role will involve fostering strong relationships and ensuring that our messages reflect our commitment to quality, trust, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce marketing communications to support business goals and objectives.
  • Create and implement marketing strategic plans for multiple business lines, including product launches, brand awareness campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Manage the design, production, and distribution of media, including websites, press releases, videos, social media, events, and support materials.
  • Create and maintain content for internal digital bulletin boards and other company-wide communications channels.
  • Manage and protect brand standards for each brand and product line, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with content experts, including sales, engineering, IT, and HR, to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Partner with freelancers, marketing agencies, media, advertisers, community representatives, sponsorship organizers, and industry associations to achieve marketing goals.
  • Create, maintain, and manage corporate tradeshow booth displays, ensuring a strong brand presence at industry events.
  • Represent FC Industries Inc. and/or its subsidiaries in public relations and media outreach, as needed.
  • Manage related contracts, subscriptions, and budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and budget allocation.
  • Follow work instructions, procedures, and company policies, including safety procedures and quality systems requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, communications, and/or public relations, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Proven project management skills and superior verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to think creatively and conceptually as well as analytically.
  • Experience developing strong relationships with media and successfully pitching stories, with a demonstrated understanding of market research and business development to gather leading practice insights and discover new trends and directions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of market forecasts, trends, and competitive positions to maximize advantages while executing strategy.
  • Experience providing leadership in marketing and communications of multiple brands, with the ability to conceptualize and create promo materials that accurately convey brand identity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Premier, with experience in web design and development.
  • Working knowledge of MS Clarity, Google Analytics, and Google Ads to manage site performance, SEO, and trend tracking.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to maneuver production facility, vendor, and customer locations as needed.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including phones, computers, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to set up / tear down various displays or trade show booth as needed.
