Chewy is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to provide administrative support to the human resources function. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting new employee orientations, monitoring call-off lines, processing time off requests, and maintaining employee files.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct new employee orientations to ensure employees understand benefit plans, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor call-off lines and process time off requests to ensure accuracy of absenteeism tracking.
- Process punch and payroll adjustments to ensure accuracy of time sheets.
- Maintain employee files, initiate drug and background screenings, and conduct routine file audits.
- Write, revise, edit, and proofread company policies and procedures as needed.
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree, major in business or human resources preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience administering general human resources duties preferred.
- Must have computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS system (Paychex or Kronos).
- Must be proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel.
- Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills essential.
