Human Resources Administrator

Chewy is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to provide administrative support to the human resources function. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting new employee orientations, monitoring call-off lines, processing time off requests, and maintaining employee files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct new employee orientations to ensure employees understand benefit plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor call-off lines and process time off requests to ensure accuracy of absenteeism tracking.
  • Process punch and payroll adjustments to ensure accuracy of time sheets.
  • Maintain employee files, initiate drug and background screenings, and conduct routine file audits.
  • Write, revise, edit, and proofread company policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree, major in business or human resources preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience administering general human resources duties preferred.
  • Must have computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS system (Paychex or Kronos).
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel.
  • Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential.
