Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead our Pharmacy department at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy department, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and goals.
  • Assist in the training and development of subordinate staff, focusing on personnel needs, work assignments, and performance evaluation.
  • Implement and adhere to the Kinney Standard of Practice, providing high-quality health care services to customers.
  • Manage and balance pharmacy inventory, ensuring maximum turns while maintaining in-stock levels for customer needs.
  • Oversee the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of third-party claims, as well as the transmitting, processing, and receiving of orders from the Kinney Warehouse and suppliers.
  • Ensure prescription files and manual records are maintained in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Utilize pharmacy technology to its fullest potential, maximizing return on investment and lifespan.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service, ensuring all employees meet high standards.
  • Implement corporate pharmacy marketing, advertising, and promotional programs, ensuring full execution and implementation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with doctors and other health service professionals.
  • Stay informed about developments in pharmacy and health care services, integrating relevant information into job responsibilities.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and facilitate communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
  • Meet or exceed budgetary sales guidelines and operate the pharmacy within established parameters.
  • Assist in the training and development of pharmacy department personnel, utilizing the Kinney Pharmacy Clerk and Technician Training Program.
  • Interface with auditors and outside agencies as needed.
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy.
  • Valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.
  • Certified Immunizer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Basic keyboarding skills.
Compensation

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors, including relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
