Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Leader to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest quality health care services are provided to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispensing and Counseling: Follow the Kinney Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform all quality assurance steps to ensure technically accurate prescriptions are dispensed, and report dispensing incidents in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and balance the pharmacy inventory to provide maximum turns while maintaining stock levels for customer needs.
  • Third-Party Claims: Oversee the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims.
  • Pharmacy Technology: Ensure in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to achieve maximum return on investment and lifespan.
  • Customer Service: Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all times.
  • Loss Prevention: Ensure all loss prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the implementation of all corporate pharmacy marketing, advertising, and promotional programs.
  • Department Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environment.
  • Professional Relationships: Maintain and develop professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions.
  • Continuing Education: Maintain an awareness of developments in the pharmacy and health care services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrate them into own practice.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient information.
  • Team Facilitation: Facilitate communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.
  • Performance Evaluation: Assist in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel.
  • Auditor Interface: Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy.
  • License and Registration: Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift.
  • Background Check: Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.
  • Certification: Certified Immunizer.

Compensation

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
