Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee and support multiple risk and control initiatives for the organization, including defining the strategy, methodologies, processes, quality standards, tools, and reporting mechanisms that ensure global risk management consistency and excellence.

+ Implement a quarterly audit process to verify attributes for accurate calculation and control.

+ Collaborate closely with business partners to address findings and propose enhancements to practices.

+ Develop and implement procedural changes and management processes in conjunction with the Operations and Reporting team to guarantee proper governance and controls.

+ Review procedures for consistency and identify gaps in relation to regulations, as well as their impact on customer experience.

+ Conduct internal assessments of dispute processes to ensure effective control measures.

+ Monitor exceptions to dispute policies and analyze the underlying causes.

+ Utilize data to assess impacts on Customer Experience and identify regulatory breaches.

+ Operate with a degree of autonomy and minimal direct supervision.

+ Exercise independent judgment and decision-making capabilities.

+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members.

+ Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, demonstrating a strong commitment to the firm's reputation and the safeguarding of Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, while applying sound ethical judgment in all business practices.

Qualifications:

+ 6-10 years of relevant experience in Business Risk & Controls.

+ Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, and Visual Basic is advantageous. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services sector is preferred.

+ Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.

+ Strong organizational and influencing skills are required.

+ Experience in third-party vendor management is preferred, along with demonstrated leadership in global team initiatives.

+ Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

+ Proven track record in developing and executing strategic and process improvement initiatives.

Education:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is a plus.
