POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Construction Project Coordinator at Village Management Services, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in managing the organization, scheduling, and oversight of various activities within the Projects Department. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating design and construction-related services for both renovation and new build initiatives, as well as managing engineering research and operational analyses. Furthermore, you will oversee maintenance agreements, collaborate with external service providers, and engage in associated tasks as required.
Reporting directly to the Construction Services Director, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet community needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work alongside the Construction Services Director to address departmental goals, policies, and operational challenges.
- Develop work plans, supervise team members, and oversee training and safety programs.
- Conduct research, draft project scopes, assist in creating specifications, and manage project financials.
- Oversee departmental operations, collaborate with consultants and contractors, and ensure adherence to contract terms.
- Provide leadership, coordinate activities across departments, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or business, or have equivalent experience. Key qualifications include:
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Understanding of administrative management principles and civil engineering practices.
- Ability to analyze research data and present clear reports.
- Strong multitasking abilities, adaptability, and prioritization skills.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid California driver's license is required.
