Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neonatologist to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a faculty member in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of neonatal medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient clinical services for approximately one week each month in the Special Care Nursery at Nash UNC Health Care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Engage in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring, to support the growth and development of our team.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Training and experience in clinical neonatology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
