Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medication Management Technician to join our team at Injured Workers Pharmacy (IWP). As a Medication Management Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the needs of our enrolled patients and pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescriptions for shipment and handle inbound and outbound calls to patients and medical offices
  • Perform pharmacy data entry and send refill renewal requests to medical offices via fax and secure electronic system
  • Provide patient outreach to follow up on patient concerns, refill requests, transfers, and medication on order/unavailable
  • Support the Medication Synchronization Program by conducting patient and medical office outreach
  • Track shipping issues, lost packages, and file claims, while conducting patient and medical office outreach
  • Schedule sensitive medications to medical offices
Requirements
  • Demonstrate computer acumen, including Microsoft Office and data entry skills
  • Exhibit strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • Massachusetts Registered Technician, Certified preferred
  • 2 years relevant pharmacy experience, desired
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday schedules include:

  • Three days - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • One day - 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm
  • One day - 10:00 am to 6:30 pm

Must be able to work one rotating Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
