Urology Registered Nurse

Quadrant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients with urology-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general nursing care to patients with urology-related conditions
  • Perform telephone triage and administer prescribed medications, vaccines, treatments, and procedures
  • Observe, record, and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to providers
  • Dispense medication as directed and complete nursing documentation
  • Prepare patients for physician examination and screen patients for information
  • Provide patient education and prepare equipment for treatment, examination, and testing
  • Create weekly schedules and make daily assignments, participate in quality and process improvement, and assist with Joint Commission surveys
  • Post tests and examination results, order and evaluate follow-up diagnostic studies, and interpret and synthesize data to determine care plans
  • Coach patients receiving antiretroviral therapy towards successful treatment outcomes
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
  • 2+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience working in the urology field and administering injections, triaging patients, assisting providers, and providing patient education
