Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Tech to join our team at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist Surgeons during surgical procedures, providing patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the Operating Room.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of the primary Surgeon.
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
  • Pass instruments and sponges to the Surgeon as needed.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the Surgeon.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved accredited program for surgical technicians or graduate of a military training program in surgical technology with a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.
  • Certified as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST).
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Surgical First Assisting Program (SFA).
  • Certified as a Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA).
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
