Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7am to 7pm every Saturday and Sunday, and one day every other week. The successful candidate will float between Ortho/Surgical (5 North) and Med Surg (3 North) units.

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for performing and directing nursing care, delegating nursing activities, and coordinating the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. They will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to facilitate staff and patient care activities, ensuring effective communication and education between staff and management.

Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in North Carolina;
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred;
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross;
  • Successful completion of hospital and unit-specific orientation, including age and population-specific skills for the area of practice;
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation;
  • Good visual acuity for patient assessment, medication administration, and documentation of care;
  • Good hearing essential for accurate patient assessment;
  • All RN employees in the department of Nursing may have a high risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
