Job Summary

CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a highly skilled Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a critical role in managing loan files from application through closing, analyzing credit applicant information, and reviewing income and asset documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary contact and liaison between clients, Branch Manager, Branch Sales Manager, and/or assigned Loan Originator(s).
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and referral partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient loan process from contract to close.
  • Manage the loan pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate processing of loan files.
  • Provide regular written and verbal updates to borrowers, ensuring transparent communication throughout the process.
  • Track all requested documents in Encompass, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt, identifying discrepancies and omissions, and notifying Loan Originators as needed.
  • Partner with Loan Originators to resolve problems and discrepancies in files and documents.
  • Ensure files are complete and set up in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
  • Meet deadlines for loan documents, ensuring timely delivery to title companies.
  • Provide superior customer service both internally and externally.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of mortgage loan processing experience.
  • State and Federal NMLS License preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Encompass experience required.
