Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct tax compliance projects, ensuring adherence to firm and professional standards while meeting budget and timeline expectations.
- Strategically plan and coordinate tax engagements with clients and internal resources.
- Act as the primary tax liaison within our firm for client interactions.
- Guarantee that clients receive proactive communication and timely service.
- Conduct thorough reviews of tax documentation and provision calculations prepared by team members.
- Evaluate tax returns, research, communications, and other deliverables as requested.

- Maintain proactive communication with clients and engagement partners regarding project progress, service opportunities, and other critical matters.

- Provide mentorship, guidance, and oversight to junior staff and senior accountants.
- Engage in and lead firm initiatives and projects.
- Keep abreast of technical developments in various tax domains related to industry specialization.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPA certification is mandatory in the respective state of practice.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in data analysis and solution recommendations.
- Ability to develop technical proficiency in industry-specific tax and accounting issues.

- Familiarity with software tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Caseware, depreciation processing software, tax preparation software (ProSystems), tax research software (RIA), and IDEA (data extraction software).
