We are currently looking for a motivated and passionate Human Resources Representative to enhance the employee experience in our retail setting. This crucial position is central to our operations, focusing on attracting top talent, nurturing a positive workplace culture, and providing essential support to our staff.

The Human Resources Representative will deliver HR support to store management, offering coaching and guidance on various HR matters, including staffing, workforce planning, training and development, retention, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, EEO compliance, safety, and HR policies. This role collaborates closely with store leadership and the regional HR team to implement HR strategies and objectives by performing the following tasks:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes for both leadership and non-leadership positions while managing the applicant tracking system.
  • Facilitate effective orientation, onboarding, and training programs to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Promote engagement through key HR initiatives.
  • Ensure clear communication among all team members and engage leadership in maintaining these communications.
  • Support reporting, analysis, execution, and follow-up related to talent management and development.
  • Guide store leadership on career development resources and track progress on individual development plans.
  • Provide consultation on employee relations, dispute resolution, and corrective actions.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving employee complaints or policy violations.
  • Support business partners regarding company policies in employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent management.
  • Assist HR Market Managers with various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership presence and approachability.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions in various settings, including formal presentations and informal meetings.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships across all organizational levels.
  • High energy, adaptability, and strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrated confidentiality and trustworthiness.
