Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver professional nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
Licensure/Certifications:
Current RN licensure in Texas is required.
BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, while an Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
Skills and Abilities:
Preferred candidates will have:
- Two years of experience in Medical or Orthopedic Nursing.
- Relevant certifications such as Medical Surgical ANCC Certification or ANCC Orthopedic Nurse Certification.
All candidates must possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities. Basic computer proficiency is also required.
This position requires full vaccination for COVID-19, in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Del Sol Medical Center is a full-service, acute-care hospital with a Level II trauma designation, equipped with over 300 patient beds and a wide range of services, including emergency care and specialized clinics.
