Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Ortho Trauma team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Current RN licensure in Texas
- BCLS certification
- ACLS certification (completed within 6 months of hire date)
- Bachelor's in Nursing Science (preferred)
- Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing
- 2 years of Medical Nursing or Orthopedic Nursing experience
- Medical Surgical ANCC Certification or ANCC Orthopedic Nurse Certification
