Overview:

At Community Youth Services, we are dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and families to overcome challenges and thrive. As a Residential Counselor, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with participants to help them achieve stability and success.

Position Description:

In this role, you will maintain a healthy living environment for youth in residence, providing guidance, counseling, and support to help them maintain appropriate and safe behavior. You will also plan and prepare meals, coordinate youth activities, and perform intake assessments to ensure new participants are fully educated around our procedures and policies.

Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent credential, be at least 21 years old, and possess the skills and ability to assist with the needs of children and youth in care. Additionally, you must meet at least one of the following criteria: have at least six months of similar experience working directly with vulnerable populations, or be attending classes at an accredited college or university related to caring for vulnerable populations.
