We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Member to join our team at the Academic Accommodations Center (AAC) at College of the Canyons. The successful candidate will provide academic support services to students with disabilities, including counseling, academic advising, and accommodations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support services to students with disabilities, including counseling, academic advising, and accommodations.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support students with disabilities in achieving their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure that students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees to promote accessibility and inclusion.
  • Stay current with best practices in disability support services and adapt to changing needs and technologies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and technologies, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
