Job Summary:

Ability First is seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Manager to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, the House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our group home, ensuring the well-being and safety of our members, and providing exceptional support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Staffing: Develop and implement effective scheduling systems to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal coverage for our members.
  • Member Support: Provide individualized support to our members, including daily routines, meal planning, and recreational activities.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor our staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and services.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document member behavior, sleep patterns, and interactions, and provide regular progress reports to our management team.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our program team to develop and implement new programs and services that meet the evolving needs of our members.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in residential care or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational and time management skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: $15.75 - $16.75 per hour.
