The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Manager to join our team. As a CAD Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of CAD Designers in the creation of electrical schematics, panel layouts, and other technical documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to design and document electrical schematics, PI&Ds, and panel layouts for various projects.
  • Develop and maintain CAD standards and procedures to ensure compliance and enforcement.
  • Support productivity enhancements and customizations, including the implementation of automated quality checks.
  • Provide technical expertise for the seamless transfer of CAD data to our production CNC machine.
  • Assist in training internal users on corporate CAD standards, software updates, and best practices to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Offer production and technical CAD support for all CAD software across the organization.
  • Facilitate regular CAD meetings to share new information and updates with the CAD Group.
  • Efficiently allocate CAD Designer resources to appropriate projects, optimizing workload distribution.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, promoting effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Excel in managing multiple tasks concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of projects and optimal productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 2-Year degree in CAD Technology.
  • 10 years Experience using AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience with UL508A Control Panel design is essential.
  • Servant-leadership attitude is preferred.
