About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-resolution images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images requested by physicians.
  • Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate CT scan equipment.
  • Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care.
  • Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, and maintain room cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • ARRT-CT certification preferred.
  • CT experience preferred.
