CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue to aid in medical diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture
- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
- Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and invasive procedures, maintaining inventory and cleanliness
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
- Vocational school graduate
