Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality CT images of patients, following established scanning protocols, and exercising your ability to adjust protocols as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate ability to obtain quality CT images of patients
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self
  • Operate CT scanner safely and competently
  • Perform all necessary computer operations, including Meditech
  • Rend patient care in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies, and all types of care to patients
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete verification process in PACS
Requirements
  • Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT-CT Technology Certification (required within 6 months of hire)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider
  • One-year experience as a CT technologist (preferred)
