Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business brokerage and mergers & acquisitions, along with experience in outside sales and/or marketing, particularly within the medical and dental sectors. Self-motivation and the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals are essential. A background in finance, accounting, lending, or medical/dental equipment sales is advantageous. The candidate will collaborate closely with Senior Principals and fellow business development specialists. An established network within Florida's healthcare equipment, supply, or finance industries would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and nurturing new client relationships and business opportunities in Florida.
  • Working with internal teams in finance, marketing, and healthcare real estate to develop and implement strategies for the successful sale of medical/dental practices valued between $1M and $50M.
  • Negotiating complex agreements between practice owners and buyers, as well as facilitating M&A transactions involving physician groups.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Chief Business Development Officers and acquisition specialists from private equity and venture capital-backed medical groups.
  • Assisting in the creation and execution of targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Managing client expectations effectively.
  • Coordinating with other healthcare professionals involved in transactions, including attorneys, lenders, and accountants, to ensure smooth deal progression.
  • Organizing and compiling company financials, practice reports, and other essential documents.
  • Contributing to the development of Offering Memorandums.

Essential Activities:

  • Sales, client management, and negotiation of deals.
  • Hosting and attending meetings with prospective clients, including various social engagements.
  • Scheduling and managing client meetings efficiently.
  • Representing the organization in complex M&A and commercial real estate transactions.
  • Actively participating in healthcare and real estate trade organizations.
  • Creating and maintaining marketing materials.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary along with an incentive compensation structure, commensurate with experience.
