Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our operations. This role involves transporting livestock and ensuring the highest standards of safety and care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.
2. Safely operate semi-trucks with and without loads.
3. Efficiently load and unload livestock from trailers.
4. Maintain cleanliness of the trailer on a daily basis.
5. Uphold the company's commitment to a zero-injury workplace culture.
6. Adhere to biosecurity protocols established by Holden Farms.
7. Work independently with minimal supervision while being a supportive team member.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving history.
- Current DOT medical certification is required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling are necessary.
- Capability to lift weights up to 55 lbs.
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold.
Employment Type:
This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate of $28.00 per hour.
