Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our logistics and transportation services, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of logistics and transportation professionals to ensure that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics and transportation operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics and transportation operations, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in logistics and transportation software a plus.
