Job Summary:
TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Position patients for optimal image quality and safety
- Administer contrast media as required
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate records of patient images and procedures
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- 1+ year of experience in CT scanning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
