Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Education Information Management System Clerk. This role will be responsible for supporting the campus principal and staff in required Support Services - PEIMS computer data submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the campus computer data submissions according to Support Services - PEIMS requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of data, including Bilingual Indicator Code, ESL Indicator Code, LEP Indicator Code, Home Language Code, Parental Permission Code, Economic Disadvantage Code, and At-Risk Indicator Code.
  • Maintain student discipline records and submit updated data sheets to central office as per schedule.
  • Provide classroom teachers with updated student data as it pertains to entries and withdrawals.
  • Verify all PEIMS data (At-Risk, Bilingual, ESL, LEP, Migrant, Economically Disadvantaged and Title One) is correct by checking PEIMS verification reports submitted by Central Office.
  • Participate in scheduled Bilingual ESL/LEP Audits and assist with Income Survey for all students new to the district.
  • Attend monthly scheduling collaborative team meetings and participate in scheduling economically disadvantaged audits to maintain current and accurate PEIMS data for Educationally Disadvantaged Students.
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • One year experience mandatory in computer data base, spreadsheet, word processing, and keyboarding
  • Training in the Texas Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) preferred
