Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant - Unit Clerk, you will provide safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. You will work under the direction of the registered nurse and participate as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
  • Work under the direction of the registered nurse.
  • Participate as an active member of the Nursing Team.
  • Support an organizational culture for Service Excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer experience in an acute care setting.
  • High School diploma, GED or Higher Education preferred.
  • Must possess one of the following:
    • CNA certificate and/or a certificate of completion of a CNA program and/or PCT certificate
    • Medical Assistant certificate and/or a certificate of a MA program
    • Current enrollment in an LVN, ADN or BSN accredited school of nursing with successful completion of first semester at a minimum
  • BLS upon hire and remain current thereafter.
  • De-escalation class within first year of hire as required by site based on specialty unit and job function.
  • Must be > 18 years of age by the date of hire.
