Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Clerk-Buyer to join our team at Precoat Metals. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical operations for the plant, including maintenance, production, quality, and EHS.

Responsibilities:

* Develops, compiles, formats, and enters data into the Preventative Maintenance (PM) computer program.
* Serves as a Buyer in the research of sources, pricing, and purchasing of parts, supplies, and services.
* Maintains maintenance parts and supplies inventory records and initiates purchasing process when levels go below predetermined minimum levels.
* Coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies both interdepartmentally and intradepartmentally.
* Generates Reports and Purchase orders from AS/400 system.
* Performs varied clerical duties requiring knowledge of general departmental and corporate office practices and procedures.
* Maintains records, checks data, and prepares standard reports.
* Notifies appropriate personnel when in-house stock reaches order point or when ordered material is past scheduled delivery date.

Requirements:

* Previous admin experience in an industrial environment
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
