About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at the Elyria Family Health Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures and exams on patients of all ages, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Prepare and check patients prior to MRI procedures, verifying patient screening safety forms and acquiring patient questionnaires and charts.
  • Acquire and review patient data and requisitions to determine contraindications for MRI examinations.
  • Administer proper contrast related to patient MRI exams and ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after exams.
  • Process billing via RIS and maintain available equipment up-time for patient accessibility.
  • Instruct and mentor new hires and radiology students, learning new technical information and skills.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in good standing.
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) required within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
