About the Role

This part-time MRI technologist position at University Hospitals offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners and ensuring that procedures produce high-quality images and information for healthcare professionals to make accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans as directed by radiologists
  • Provide compassionate age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
  • Answer phones and arrange schedules for in-patient requests
  • Assure a safe and clean environment
  • Maintain knowledge of technical skills
  • Initiate and maintain positive relationships with patients/customers and coworkers
  • Take responsibility for self-development and support a learning environment
  • Display commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values
  • Demonstrate successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing special procedure technology in the MR area
  • Use administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department
  • Collaborate effectively and in a timely manner with co-workers and clinical staff
  • Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
