This part-time MRI technologist position at University Hospitals offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners and ensuring that procedures produce high-quality images and information for healthcare professionals to make accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans as directed by radiologists, providing compassionate age-specific care to patients from neonates to geriatrics.
- Provide patient care during visits to the MRI suite, answering phones, and arranging schedules for in-patient requests.
- Assure a safe and clean environment, maintaining knowledge of technical skills, and initiating positive relationships with patients, customers, and coworkers.
- Take responsibility for self-development, supporting a learning environment, and demonstrating commitment to the hospital's mission and values.
- Collaborate effectively with co-workers and clinical staff, providing age-specific care to patients and efficiently implementing special procedure technology in the MR area.
As a University Hospitals employee, you will be eligible for competitive hourly rates, enhanced PTO for candidates with 5+ years of relevant work experience, a sign-on bonus, tuition reimbursement after six months, career ladder progression, and more.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must abide by all policies and standards, comply with all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients, and complete annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures.
