Job Title: Affordable Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Affordable Property Manager to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG). As an Affordable Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our 51-unit apartment community, Weidler Commons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the property's marketing efforts to attract new residents
  • Maintain the property's integrity and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Screen prospective residents and conduct thorough background checks
  • Collect rents and process payments in a timely manner
  • Prepare and serve notices to residents as needed
  • Develop and maintain accurate reports and records
  • Prepare and negotiate agreements with residents
Requirements:
  • Two years of previous customer service experience
  • One year of previous property management experience
  • Previous experience with Yardi Property Management Software is preferred
  • Basic experience with MS365, including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks, including collecting rent and preparing reports
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail
  • Available for after-hours emergencies
  • Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and safety protocols
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • A current valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance
