About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Dominium Management. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a crucial role in guiding and leading maintenance teams to elevate distressed properties to optimal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Transformation: Oversee the physical transformation of properties, ensuring efficient functionality and addressing maintenance challenges promptly.
  • Leadership and Planning: Collaborate closely with the Property Operations Specialist to establish and implement comprehensive maintenance plans, focusing on leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution.
  • Maintenance Operations: Assist in the completion of distressed unit turnovers, maintain inventory levels, procure maintenance supplies, and perform all essential functions in the absence of critical site staff.
  • Training and Development: Train maintenance staff as needed in preventive maintenance procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety procedures and emergency protocols, and manage and document tasks digitally using provided maintenance devices.
Requirements
  • Experience: Full-time maintenance experience, minimum of 3-5 years.
  • Certifications: Special Boiler Operator License, when required, and required local certification.
  • Education: High school diploma required, and/or CRMT (Certified Residential Maintenance Technician) preferred.
  • Skills: Universal Freon Recovery Certification (EPA 608), valid driver's license, ability to use hand and power tools, and general knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to the community.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate in English clearly with others orally and in writing, and effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
