KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Case Management Supervisor is a key position responsible for overseeing case management and ensuring the safe and timely release of services, mentoring new case managers, and guiding the work of other case managers. This role guarantees effective oversight and coordination of case management services.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Distributes caseloads of children for intensive case management and necessary services such as medical evaluations, educational assessments, legal assistance, and family reunification.
  • Oversees, supports, and trains Case Managers and the Sub-Lead Case Manager.
Essential Functions:
  • Ensures the completion of assessments and any relevant social or medical history reports as they relate to the client's needs and case documentation.
  • Facilitates the service planning process; participates in client staffing and follow-up as required.
  • Guarantees the accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork or documentation, including administrative, clinical, or caseload requirements.
  • Safeguards the human and legal rights of clients.
  • Provides direct services to children to maintain a staff/client ratio in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Delivers quality services and meets productivity expectations as defined by the supervisor.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures established by funding sources, state licensing requirements, and the agency.
  • Responds to emergencies and provides crisis intervention as needed.
  • Applies for support funds when necessary.
  • Performs all other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience demonstrating supervisory and case management skills, including two (2) years of experience working with children.
    • A Master's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services is preferred.
  • Must complete at least 10 hours of continuing education/training annually.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Proof of immunization for: Varicella (2 doses), MMR (1 dose), Influenza (yearly), Tdap (1 dose).
  • A valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage is necessary.
