Funding Source: General Current
Hours of Employment: 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and educational background, along with a competitive benefits package that approximates 35% of direct compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be tasked with ensuring that educational facilities and grounds are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Responsibilities include operating heating and cooling systems, performing minor repairs, and striving to uphold a safe and visually appealing environment.

- Perform cleaning duties in both internal and external areas to eliminate dust, dirt, and debris
- Organize furniture in classrooms and offices to meet the satisfaction of educators
- Adjust heating, lighting, and ventilation systems as required
- Maintain sanitary conditions by cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and common areas regularly
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks as time and skills permit
- Report maintenance needs and preventive tasks to the Head Custodian
- Clear snow and ice from walkways and access points
- Follow the established schedule for floor cleaning and maintenance
- Wash windows to ensure cleanliness
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of school events
- Support the maintenance of athletic facilities as needed
- Participate in minor repairs such as changing lights and ceiling tiles
- Perform classroom cleaning and maintenance duties
- Assist with special events and activities as required
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Superintendent or immediate supervisor
