Maintenance Technician III

Bishop Gadsden is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance functions to ensure the smooth operation of our community.
Responsibilities- Perform general plumbing tasks, including changing out faucets, mixing valves, and clearing drains.
- Complete general electrical tasks, such as lock out/tag out, bulb replacement, and fixture change out.
- Change bulbs, HVAC filters, and batteries.
- Hang pictures, blinds, and hardware.
- Perform carpentry-related duties, including construction, demolition, and repair.
- Troubleshoot or replace electrical and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances and equipment.
- Perform all equipment preventative maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and regulate boiler, 4-pipe, and domestic water supply systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- General experience in building maintenance required.
- Valid SC divers' license required.
- Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.
- Ability to lift and/or carry weights of up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Interpersonal skills necessary for exchanging information and maintaining a courteous relationship with residents, families, visitors, and Bishop Gadsden employees.
