Job Title: EEG Technologist III

At MUSC, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare to our patients. As an EEG Technologist III, you will play a critical role in our Clinical Neurophysiology Department, working with a talented team of professionals to provide top-notch care.

Job Summary

The EEG Technologist III performs comprehensive assessments, documentation, and education under general supervision. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine and continuous video EEG studies
  • Conducting EEGs in accordance with the 10-20 system and departmental guidelines
  • Providing guidance, mentoring, and education to lower-level technicians
  • Monitoring in-patient vEEG/LTM for uninterrupted, clean recordings
  • Interacting professionally with hospital staff, physicians, patients, and family members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • 2 years of work experience
