The selected candidate will be instrumental in safeguarding our workforce on construction sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and protocols.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily safety activities on construction sites
  • Educate and enforce safety protocols among project personnel
  • Oversee behavior-based safety initiatives and implement necessary corrective measures
  • Embed safety considerations into project objectives and plans
  • Conduct safety inspections and uphold safety regulations
  • Lead accident investigations and manage incident documentation
  • Engage in client discussions and report on safety performance metrics
  • Support workers' compensation processes and case management
  • Maintain training and certification documentation for the project team

Required Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of safety management experience in construction
  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Preferred certifications include CSP, CHST
  • OSHA certification and continuous safety education are mandatory
  • Familiarity with OSHA and MSHA regulations
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to create reports
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
