Pipefitter Journeyman Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Journeyman to join our team at Bechtel Construction Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman pipefitter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the testing and commissioning of piping systems
  • Prepare weld joints to meet project codes and standards
  • Plan and execute pipe lay-out and threading tasks
  • Read and comprehend piping isometric drawings and support details
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient work practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial construction as a journeyman pipefitter
  • Basic rigging skills and proficiency in small power tools
  • Ability to read and comprehend piping isometric drawings and support details
  • 3+ years' experience in testing and commissioning of piping systems
  • Capable of efficiently planning work and adhering to safety procedures
