Job Overview

Whaling City Auto Group is seeking a skilled Automotive Sales Representative to promote and sell vehicles from our extensive inventory to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the auto industry and strong sales skills.

This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package including base salary and commission.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet and exceed sales goals by consistently promoting and selling vehicles to customers
  • Understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of different vehicle models
  • Conduct test drives with customers and highlight vehicle capabilities and features
  • Assist customers with financing options and negotiate terms to ensure a successful sale
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitor offerings
  • Collaborate with team members and management to ensure customer satisfaction and a seamless sales process
  • Utilize CRM systems to track leads, follow up with customers, and maintain accurate records

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in automotive sales
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of different vehicle models, features, and industry trends
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
