About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist Level II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies
  • Perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care
  • Direct and check the work of other Nuclear Medicine Technologists as needed
  • Administer therapeutic doses of radiopharmaceuticals under direct supervision of the physician
  • Measure radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers, and scintillation detectors
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years continuous recent experience in nuclear medicine
  • Demonstrated ability to perform all procedures and processes as determined by the employer
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization
Education and Certifications
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Nuclear Medicine Technologist from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Nuclear Medical Technologist Certificate (California)
  • Basic Life Support
