Key Responsibilities- Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies
- Perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care
- Direct and check the work of other Nuclear Medicine Technologists as needed
- Administer therapeutic doses of radiopharmaceuticals under direct supervision of the physician
- Measure radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers, and scintillation detectors
- Minimum of three years continuous recent experience in nuclear medicine
- Demonstrated ability to perform all procedures and processes as determined by the employer
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Nuclear Medicine Technologist from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Nuclear Medical Technologist Certificate (California)
- Basic Life Support
