MRI Technologist Level II

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist Level II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform patient studies according to established protocols, ensuring the highest level of diagnostic quality.
- Operate imaging equipment, adjusting settings as needed to optimize image quality.
- Interview patients to explain procedures, addressing concerns and providing exceptional patient care.
- Ensure patient and staff safety, adhering to safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
- Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees in MRI procedures.
- Minimum two years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California).
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California) within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support.
