The Teacher Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Master Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for children. This position requires a supportive and non-judgmental individual who can maintain confidentiality and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Master Teacher in planning and implementing educational activities for children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide quality programming
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Experience working in a licensed or registered early childhood setting preferred
- Excellent communication and time management skills
