Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Account Executive to join our sales team. The primary function of this role is to drive business growth by prospecting for potential clients, pitching company solutions, and supporting the sales cycle to closing. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of success in the hotel booking industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of potential clients within the hotel booking industry.
  • Initiate and manage contact with prospects, effectively pitching the company's solutions and value proposition.
  • Oversee the sales process from the initial pitch through to closing, ensuring successful contract negotiations and revenue growth.
  • Develop and present commercial proposals, negotiating contract terms with new clients and driving business expansion.
  • Improve and refine sales materials to better communicate the company's unique value proposition and industry expertise.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across all levels within key accounts, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial environment.
  • Attend industry trade shows and travel to meet with clients and prospects as necessary, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Implement proactive sales initiatives and measures to drive revenue growth and business expansion, aligning with company goals and objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the hotel booking industry and its commercial landscape, including market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Experience attending trade shows and familiarity with the logistics of client meetings and travel, including international travel and cultural awareness.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial/sales experience in a leading wholesaler brand within the hotel booking industry, with a proven track record of success in business development and revenue growth.
  • Extensive network within the hotel booking industry, gained through previous roles such as XML Account Manager, Business Development, or similar positions, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships.
  • Proven track record in developing new business in both wholesale and retail environments, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on execution and results-driven mindset.
  • Hands-on, strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
