Troy Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Unit Manager in our Sub Acute Unit. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that high-quality care is provided to our residents. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Supervision

Supervise and mentor less experienced nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.

Establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Clinical Expertise

Develop and maintain standards of care for the unit, ensuring that residents receive the highest level of care.

Review resident records and quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Communication and Collaboration

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management, advocating for the needs of our residents and staff.

Requirements:
  • Valid State RN License
  • 3 years of Long Term Care experience (preferred)
  • 2 years of Charge Nurse experience (preferred)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
